Information

Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

I am so glad that you like the idea. I assigned each of the 14 divisions a color once I ruled out all the awareness ribbon colors. Thank you so much on the offer to help roxanne, and congrats to your daughter!!!! What a huge day it must have been for her and you! Things have been a little crazy over here so I will try to post the ribbon details tomorrow. Thanks for your input and support. I will talk to you tomorrow. Sweet dreams! XO Caddie

CKH, If you get the ribbons I will be glad to give you money towards it or I can get some of the ribbons. Let me know how I can help. I feel kinda slighted I am flying Southwest and won't get tickets or boarding pass til 24 hrs prior. Real tickets would be better then an e-mail. I was reading on the PIR site about Hell week coming up. Our guys are already doing 4 am to 9 or 10 pm. Hope it doesn't get much harder for them. Praying for all

Hi Ladies, no letter for me today. :( Hopefully tomorrow. I have booked our hotel and not our flights, waiting to have my husband weigh in about the kids. It's starting to make me nervous. Maybe I should just buy them...any thoughts????

Also, I have made a list of colored ribbons coordinating with the 14 divisions for PIR. The idea is to have the ribbons at the meet and greet so that we can differentiate between divisions. I hope everyone is ok with that. I am planning on either getting the ribbons myself and bringing them or letting each division know their color and we each can get our own. It was challenging to find colors that did not correspond with an awareness ribbon i.e. pink for breast cancer. :) Anyway, I thought I would run it by my 818 girls before I posted to the PIR site. Wow, that site is getting huge and I am always reading 5 pages of posts if I am not checking frequently! haha It's great that we have so many!! :)
Please let me know what you think. I am always open to ideas. XO
