Div 818 PIR 9/2

As our recruits get furthur into bootcamp I thought that maybe some of the Moms in Division 818 PIR 9/2 would like to get more specific information. I'm brand new at this but thought I'd try and maybe some more knowledgable Mom's will help us.

kelly59 - well I did expedia but did not actually book them. Im going to wait and talk to him (hopefully) this week to double check that the splints are not going to hold back his PIR - He has had them before and they took a week of staying mostly OFF his leg altogether and wrapped with ice packs... I dont thnk they will let him skip out for a week or two with out officially putting him back two weeks. I just dont know -

Lydia, My son was a runner in highschool & had very painful shin splints when he was about 17 I think. Alot of ice, ibuprofen & stretching helped him. I don't remember just how long they lasted but they did finally go away.
I have to check Orbitz about refunds, but we chose not to do refundable because they were double the price.

Good Morning Lydia, So upsetting to read about the recruit that hit his head. I was not on at all yesterday so did not know about any of this. Have you heard if your son is doing better? I hope so! We ordered our airline tix & car rental through Orbitz, we've used them before & have been happy with the price.
