Just thought I would send a quick hello.  My son earned his Eagle Scout in December of 2010 and will be leaving for BC in November of 2011.  So glad I found n4m.  I was hesitant at first but it looks like it has a ton of great information and great people.  My son will be an AC.  Would love to hear from any of you other proud Eagle Scout/Navy moms out there!

Hey girls!  Hope all is well. Getting crazy at the office...isn't it April 18 yet????  Will catch up with y'all very soon!  Welcome to new moms, don't be shy, this is a great, supportive, loving group!  I'm so glad to have everyone here as friends!  God bless our sailors, God bless all Navy families.

Keep the sailors that were injured on the John Stiennis (sorry if I missed the spelling) flight deck while out this week in prayer.  Although we know that every precaution is taken, there are chances for accidents.  May those injured recover quickly and everyone takes that extra second to make sure everything is up to the highest standards.

Race is on in our troop since we ahve 2 eagles and another family has 2 eagles and we both have a turd oops Third which ever one earns Eagle first will go in the record list for our troop as a 3 Eagle family. they haven't had that is a very long time. Both boys need a few merit badges and project and BOR but it's anyone game right now.

Hey girls...man where is the time going? Feb is almost over and it's getting busy at the office.  Becky!  Great news for COH and your sailor coming home for it!  Woo hoo!  Liz, even though Ian won't be there in body, he'll be there in spirit, as all of us will be thinking of you on that special day!  Jordan is working on Communication and Family Life and the counselors are both good friends of the family so there's a lot of ribbing going on when they meet up and "questioning" if things really get done...hahaha, example, the 90 day chore list for family life, Jordan did 91 days.....really?  It's all good fun and as soon as those are wrapped up we finish up the ES book and BOR  Hope it'll be done before June graduation, but no worries, he just turned 17 last month so we have time but we all know how fast that flies these days!

Becky- I am so excited for you to have your son home too. I'm bummed that my sailor can't be at his brothers on the 6th but cali to Ohio takes more time than a weekend flight. I was trying to figure out if we could Skype him in to teh hall but they don't have internet in the hall so it appears that we wont since the puter would have to run off a cell phone wifi and the connection isn't a sure thing.

I tell you gals, I am NEVER short of being amazed when I see what our boys have done for the Eagle Scout Projects.  They certainly know how to step up and produce something that will benefit the community and give them great pride in knowing that they did it from start to finish!  Bonnie, my son just left Coronado for Bremerton Is, WA in December.  He's on the Nimitz, right now he's studying for ACT test next month, he's submitted his application to the Naval Acadamy as well as STA 21 application.  He loves WA state, can't wait for summer months to go camping, is even looking into finding a BSA troop to get involved with and help other boys out.  With his job right now he gets every other weekend off, so it'd be awesome if he found a troop and then he could go on the outings and really help the boys enjoy the outdoors and learn about scouting.  God bless our sailors, God bless all Navy families!  Oh and just in case I don't get online between here and Monday, Happy Valentine's Day my Navy mom sisters!  Much love to you all, thanks for making this group what it is.  Nice to see it grow.
