August would be much better for me. Can you put out a list of the type of things they need? I can contact my buddies at my former employer & maybe get some donations that way too.

Julie I'll check my calendar and see if those dates in August work and get back to you. But I think they should be fine, nothing major is coming to mind.

Sounds like a great way to spend a Saturday morning. Let me know a date & I'll see if I can. We have lots coming up in the next month. #2 son is coming home the end of this month & #1 son is getting married July 17 (provided they can get the chapel on base.) Even though I work at home, I still see the folks from the old job - maybe I can get some donations from them. They were great when Brent wanted some Christmas stuff for his shop while they were on deployment.

i called and left message on his cell phone praise the Lord he is going to be ok and that he is one of the few men that i know that actually wear a helmet. that bike is so important to him he talks about it all the time. lets just all keep praying for speedy recovery and to return to duty as soon as he can. such an awesome man he made a huge difference in my daughters life and changed it forever. i am forever grateful to him.

Proudmom thanks for that, yes I know them well and know who has a motorcycle, omg. I just called & got the info. THANKS for sharing that news, he's a wonderful guy and will be ok, thank God he was wearing a helmet.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. My oldest son & his fiance came for the weekend, but had to leave Sunday as he had duty yesterday. More news - my younger son is coming home from Wisconsin. He is dropping out of college & going into the Navy. He has qualified for nuke. He doesn't have an exact day, but will be going next week to select his job. I have to say that I am glad he is getting out of college. The school he went to (for all the wrong reasons according to him) has not worked out. He is excited about going into the Navy & I am very happy for him.
