No, I haven't eaten there.  HAVE eaten at the Vietnamese Kitchen right next to it, so I do know where it's at.  Anywhere is great with me.

My son is actually home on leave right now until the 25th.

Saturday the 7th is good for me. Hmmm, is that pizza place the Costco shopping center?  Or even Desert Ridge isn't much further.

Dawn - I have a son at Nuke school too.  Hey, I'm on the north side too, near Cave Creek Rd. and the 101.  If you all are meeting up I'd love to meet you.

Carrie & Dawn - I'm sort of inbetween both of you as I am at Central & Bell.  I have 2 sons in - one in Sigonella & the other at nuke school.  I'd love to meet both of you.

Sons ship out date is fast approaching, getting a little choked up when ever I think about it. Leaves March 1, going away party at American Legion on Sat. the 25th. Still need to get his little things like phone card address book stamps, happy/sad day!!

Hi Julie.  What part of town do you live in?  I'm north, Cave Creek Rd. north of the 101.  I am going to do a little packing party, but I didn't get anything big going for this adoption after all.  Got one of the high school Key Clubs to do a little donation drive this time, and hopefully an even bigger one next month.  We have a lot of stuff that we can put together goodie bags though, along with tons of stuff I've been collecting.  Would you like to join us?  I am thinking maybe next weekend, but I'm still waiting to find out about the postage from Molly's.  I've always done the adoptions on my own before, so need to find out how to get the postage paid for having a packing party.  I'm sure we alone have enough stuff for about 12 boxes IF we make individual goodie bags.  I've already got enough for 40 goodie bags put together waiting to be packed, and probably enough for another 50 or 60 and then some.  Maybe along with what you have we can really get a lot going.   I've got all the customs forms and boxes ready form the post office, and just printed out some label from Molly's.  Still need to get more packing tape.  And I got 100 more brown paper bags to make the individual goodie bags with.  It would be a lot of fun if you'd like to join us.

Does anyone know if we have a group, or an individual, who puts together a packing party for Molly's Adopt a Sailor?   If not, I may just get one started.
