Party invitation and RSVP

When you click to RSVP "yes" and click "confirm, you'll be taken to the next page with several tabs up top including "Potluck."  Go there to see what others are bringing and to add what you're bringing, if anything.  Also add if you're bringing guests so we can get an estimate of how many are coming.

I emailed invitations out today to those whose email addresses I have, too.  So be sure to RSVP!!  I can't wait for next Sunday, it's going to be a great event!!

By the way, here's more information about Admiral Sanders:

As Commander of Combined Task Force 151, Admiral Sanders commanded 4,440 sailors on 19 ships from seven nations in a coalition counter-piracy force operating off the coast of Somalia. He served in this at-sea command tour until January 2010 and currently serves as Deputy Commander, U.S. 2nd Fleet.

Wow that was so much fun!  (Not pictured-Diane/ThanksMom, who left early.) We took a tour of the Fine Gun Room where the August 7th party to meet the admiral will take place.  Barb, we're hoping for 40 or so to attend.  We've got four round tables that seat 10, with black tablecloths; and side tables for setting out our dishes, desserts and drinks (the restaurant is providing the ice).  If everyone attending will email me a photo of your sailor and his/her rate(job) I'll put together nametags for us.  It's shaping up to be a great event!

Hi Diane! Anyone can plan a meet & greet.  This one is twofold, to get together and to let others see the venue for the August party to meet the admiral.  The location (one exit east of where the 101 and north/Red Mountain 202 intersect) is pretty easy to get to.  Midweek worked this time for the moms who have already RSVP'd for the August event.  I hope you can come to the potluck party on August 7th.  It's on a Sunday because that's the only day the admiral had available (he's only in Phoenix two days).  The details are above in the Discussion area.
