Thanks for the welcome - I had a double emptynest quick from my children. On Aug 28 my youngest of two sons moved into his college dorm and my older son was up in MEPs on August 30th for his swearing in ceremony and left for boot camp. Need I say that pieces of my heart of gone in two different directions.

Been keepig busy with projects and trying to get back to my quilting projects. My husband and I will be driving out to GL for PIR end month. counting the days.

Blessedmom once married even my kids that live around here are not as easy to get to be around My Navy son doesn't even want to date girls that aren't from here as he knows thru what he has seen things don't stay tight. The girls here don't want someone away all the time so he is lonely. I just keep a box out with his address on it and mail him 1-2 a month so he has to think of home then if not before then. It also helps the empty feeling. I also have 2 more soldiers that I like to think I have adopted cause they share everything I send so I have a BIG navy family God bless you I pray for peace to you
