Tina - it all depends on their rate.  My son went through NACCS (Aircrew Candidate School) and is currently in "C" school.  Then he will go through "A" school, FRAC and SERE.  Probably take a year or so.

So do all SR's go to A school from BC?

I have a question... what exactly is "A school"?

Welcome AdirondackD.  I had the day off, and just met with some bootcamp parents whose only son leaves in 2 weeks.  Talk about timing--their only daughter just got married last week!

My daughter leaves in October for boot camp, she is my youngest of three girls.  I live on a  mountain on a dirt road alone after she goes.  What can I do to become active in supporting the military and Navy specifically our Sailors.

Welcome to Lisee

Blanche, my heart is with you.  Instead of just saying you are fine, could you say you would appreciate if they could mail a card to your sailor?  Also, come join us on the Prayer Wall or Molly's Adopt a Sailor.
