Daysleeper-- I had homemade veggie soup tonight because my hubby was gone.  He's a meat and potatoes guy, but he's been cutting back on the carbs since I'm keeping the white stuff off my plate.

Does anyone have an SR in Ship 11 Div 127?  I haven't received a phone call yet and I was just wondering if anyone else hasn't received a call or if I'm the only one?

Shirley: I just found out myself what a Blue Star Flag is... its a flag that military families hang up at their home showing that you have a family member in active service.  You can order them for free at www.bluestarflag.com.  When you go on to the website, it also tells you the story behind them.

Bobbysproudmom: Thank you for the information.  I just ordered a Blue Star Flag. There is so much to know and just not enough time in the day to learn it all.  I try to go on the computer at work at lunch and come on to this site to see what else I can learn.  Thanks for your response.

Tina-In BC they do create their own flag-The t-shirts have the same design as their flag. My son ordered t-shirts for us(hubby & me)--Gave them to us after PIR. My son didn't say whether or not we could order some.

You are to hang a Blue Star Flag in a window to show you have an active duty military family member. Go to mybluestarflag.com and you can order a free blue star flag--I've ordered mine--I have 3-5 weeks left to get the window clean :)
