Hello everyone :) Just want to touch base and let you know our middle son is stationed at Little Creek, he has been there since A school.  He loves it, because it's close to NC, where we live.  We are about an hour and half from Little Creek.  Hope everyone is doing alright, prayers going out for everyone and all their love ones in the military.

Hello kdbqin and mama spence,

Great to see some new names here. My son has been stationed at Little Creek for almost a year. He likes being there. The only down side is we are from Oregon so it is very far away. He is part of ACU 4 and works on hovercrafts. Welcome to our group.

Hey everyone:) Just want to introduce myself.  Our son is also at Little Creek, been there for over a year and he loves it.  He is on deployment, but when we last spoke he was in high spirits.

Hi TenaciousDee,

Glad to have you on Navy For Moms/Little Creek. Our son got there last April. He works with hovercrafts. He also really likes it there.

Hello everyone! My son is has been in Little Creek since last week. He seems to like it and sounds happy. He just got back from his first deployment. Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself!

Hi Lynda,

Our son had the same issue last spring when he first got to Little Creek. So he ended up getting a PO box at a nearby UPS store. Now he gets his mail from us, including packages, in 3 days. And we live in Oregon. So it might be something for your son to consider. I think the base at Little Creek gets the mail and it just takes them a really long time to get it delivered to the sailor. Hopefully he will get that package soon.

Help, Anyone!!! Sent a package through the post office (insured it, too) to my sailor at Little Creek. He should have received it (according to the post office by my house) on Friday of last week. As of today he still hasn't received it. He keeps checking every day. We verified his address and that's correct. Any suggestions, I sent him new dvd's and some stuff he needed from home. I feel so bad that he hasn't gotten anything. I sent another package today through fedex (insured it again). Pray he gets this one it's all his xmas gifts.
