You will have to ask your recruit then,, my daughter only had to do the run part since that is the part she had trouble with,,, she do not have to do all.

It makes sense Thank you Sammy for the info :)

when they test, they do it all together. so if they need to pass the run, they will also do the sit ups and push ups. but, really, no one fails because of them. but the pfa is done all together at one time.... not just parts. does that make sense?
Comment by LoriM on January 17, 2015 at 5:28pm

Just the part they failed....Only listen to them if they call or those of us who have been through it,,, others have opinions or hear say...and you will be crazy listening to those who do not know for sure.....  The chances are not usually limited as long as they keep improving...at a good rate...

I have a question if a recrut did not pass there running exam do they have to do all over again everything that is on their PFA or just the part that they failed???

welcome joy. they get 10 tries. I've been here helping out almost 4 years and nearly all eventually pass and move out into the navy. keep writing encouragement daily, pray, and find something to keep your mind off it. it's much harder on us than them. my son was there for 3 weeks and said he'd do it over the exact same way. hugs.
ps.... Monday is mlk day.... it is a govt holiday and the recruits will probably only run (test) twice next week.

CarolR, happy for you and your son. Congrats. Claudia and Nukewife don't lose faith God will give your recruits the grace and strength they need to pass their test too. Will keep lighting a blue candle for them.

Thank you Claudia and NukeWife it was the best call. It was a scripted call as well, the only one crying this time was me, tears of joy for him and the others that passed. I still am praying and begging God to let the whole div pass in the next few days so they can all go to BS21 together.

I am so happy for you CarolR! This inspires me and gives me hope. That must have been the best call you've had in a while. I will wait for my call. Patience is key in all of this.
Thank you for your support and everyone on here. I will continue praying for our recruits.
