My son was supposed to graduated 1/27/17, my family flew to Chicago from Florida for his graduation and found out that he did not pass the retake on the run portion of his PFA the morning of graduation. He was moved to FIT and later passed and shipped off to A  school 3/3/17. Prayer and Hope was everything for me during this season.  Connecting with other moms here helped tremendously.  I just want to encourage you all to stay hopeful, keep your sailors encouraged, moms are a part of their motivation.  They want to make us proud. I will pray for each of you and your sailors.  Be sure to keep us posted once your sailors pass so we can celebrate with you.

Tomorrow will be my daughters 5th try, I am praying she makes it. I miss her so much, and I know this has been very hard for her.

My son was supposed to PIR 3/17. Failed the run by 15 seconds. He passed on 4/5... on the 8th try. Now he's headed to Nuke school!

As soon as my daughter gets to Florida we are heading that way. I can't wait to give her the biggest hug. I just hope it is soon. Will be praying for everyone tomorrow!

Cookie93: I'm sorry that you did not get to see your daughter. I hope you'll see her soon. Thanks for the prayers!

My daughter was supposed to graduate 4/7. I hated that she had to miss graduation, and not see her family. I told her I am still very proud of her, and that she will pass. But I miss her a lot. I pray your daughter passes tomorrow, 18 seconds is not that much.

My daughter failed the run by 18 seconds. She has another shot tomorrow to hopefully graduate on her PIR Friday. I pray she makes it! I miss her so much!

@ Navy Beaner...my son's PIR was 3/17 also. Just got the call yesterday that he has passed THAT run. The waiting was most heartbreaking 19 days. BUT now he is a U.S, Sailor and that's all that matters. Prayers to all. They WILL pass.

Cookie93--March of last year I went through the same heartbreak. It's hard, I'm not going to lie. But when you get that "I'm a sailor" call, it 's happiness like you've never experienced before. At least it was with me.

She'll pass, they work really hard to get them through FIT. Also they will have leave after they pass, so hopefully you'll get to see her sooner.
