My daughter went in to FIT last Friday, so we will not see her or go to graduation this Friday. My heart is so broken. I guess I will see her in Florida once she passes her run.

Still waiting for my SR to pass his PFA....PIR was 3/17. Did talk to him today! He sounded so good and in good spirits. Prayers he gets this done at his retake tomorrow....

Anyone have/had their SR's in FIT this week or this month?

Thank you lemon for the information!

joshsmom, the recruit calls once the decision has been made to move the recruit to FIT on the day of the failed PFA. It is unusual for a recruit who has not been injured to fail the push-ups. Typically recruits who are in FIT are there for failing the run and/or part of the swim test. See the info in Battle Stations-21 (BST). (Check your My Page.)

I have a question about the fit program. How long after the SR fails the PFA are they moved to the fit program and make the dreaded call? My SR will be taking the final PFA soon and I'm worried about him passing the push-ups.

No, there is no Liberty until the recruit passes BST and is then a Sailor and moved to the THU. Your  recruit cannot have visitors. Only Sailors can have visitors after leaving the RTC.

Hi talorns-my daughter did not have any liberty while she was in FIT. I am not sure if others did. Once you complete a battle stations she was moved over to the temporary holding unit awaiting orders for her a school. She has liberty now under certain conditions .

I have a question, if they are in FIT, they have liberties so that means we can visit them fro few hours?
