HM,  a Big Bravo Zulu to your daughter for all her hard work. I am very happy that everything worked out.  Now she can enjoy her Navy life.  Will you be going to see her?

I am now the happy mother of a sailor.  She passed PFA Wednesday and did Battle Stations last night.

Thank you everyone for your support and prayers.

ProudSistah, thank you especially for giving me reason to light the blue candle.  I can't thank you enough.

I would not write, he will retest every other day and will likely do bs in time for pir. Unless pir was today. Either way he will not be there long. Letters I wrote ended up back to me a month later. Hang in there it happens a lot. Was he ill?

I'm sitting here at home watching the clock. How sad is it is for us Moms who don't get the experience of PIR, but How very sad for our children who worked so hard and don't get to participate in this grand ceremony. I'm sure they are having a hard time, also. thinking about all of them and praying that they are ok and will get through this.

Acesmom,

I have been sending letters to her old div with the words "Forward to FIT" written prominently on the envelope.

My son was supposed to PIR today but didn't pass his run. I haven't written to him in a week because I thought he would be out of there. Where do I get a new address to write him?
