tks4, omg, how hard for the both of you. I am so sorry she is still having so much pain. Meds sound a lot better than surgery to me too. Will pray double time for all of your family..God Bless!

My daughter was running 6 miles before bootcamp. After her surgery she gets exhausted after running for 2 minutes plus her face swells. She is headed back to bootcamp tomorrow and will see her surgeon next week. Please pray for good news. She is still in a lot of pain. It kind of sad but I am hoping for an infection that they can give her meds to clear up instead of  needing the 2nd surgery. Her spirits were great night at her going away again party. That was mostly because friends and family were there. I will be a nervous reck until she sees her surgeon next week.

Sandy, I couldn't do it either, I am not even sure that it has anything to do with my age, I am not sure I could have ever done what they do..LOL Okay I am a  little on the whimpy side, but that's beside the point..LOL

keger If I had to do what my Sailor son does it would kill me. He says that during the 5 mile runs,  part of it is up-hill.

You all are making me tired just talking about running..LOL

sandy, at Great Lakes sometimes they have days where they have to run 5 miles. That would kill me for sure. I am glad that they are making the new Sailor do this. I think it is good for them.

Easier to stay in shape if you already are than to get into shape if you aren't.  After this I imagine she will be really motivated not to let herself get out of shape.
