Thanks Keger and Sandy.  I am going to Texarkana to catch the train. I live 1 1/2 hours away.  I'll take the number for the PAO with me and keep calling until I get someone to tell me whether she passed before I get on the train.  I understand that Battlestations is running every day this week, so she still has a chance to participate in PIR.

HI HM! Sandy has told you everything, she will have another chance tomorrow morning to pass the PFA, but she will not be able to call you until after Battle Stations. If you call PAO you can find some of the people are difficult to work with but there are a couple who will work with you and like Sandy said if you explain your travel situation they may tell you if she passed her PFA, but the results will not be in right away, usually late morning or in the afternoon. We will be praying she passes tomorrow!!!

I got the call last night to tell me that she did not pass the PFA.  She was supposed to go to battlestations last nighit, but instead, I assume, went to FIT.  I'm new here.  How soon will she be able to retake the PFA test?  She sais she would  call when she passed---does that jive with the experience you all have had?  I am waiting for the call.  If it doesn't come tomorrow, I have to cancel my trip to Great Lakes.

I called my husband by his last name thinking it was his first name because everyone on base called him that. I finally realized it after we were dating for awhile.LOL

I wouldn't be surprised if everyone in the FIT program knew each-other. Navynrocks there is a good chance that your son knows keger's son.

keger, I would be nervous too making a road trip with out a cell phone. What a hassle it would be if something happened?

navynrock,  I would definitely cal POA. I know you must be really worried about your son. I would be and I would give them a call.

My son told me that while he was in boot camp everyone in his division came down with pneumonia. He told me that it is an all to common occurrence. He said that first they all had their wisdom teeth pulled around week 4. Then they all came down with a bad cold, followed by pneumonia in the last 2 weeks. He said that they were all given a shot with something to boost their immune systems.

Sandy, I have actually put off going to southern Mo because of not having a cell phone. I have plenty if time to go and visit family, and my husband tells me I should but I don't want to get out in the middle of no where especially with kids in the car and have problems and not be able to call anyone.he says I am being silly, but I still don't want to risk it.

Navynrocks he has pneumonia? Then why isn't he in SIQ? Hope PA will be able to give you some answers.
