Keger - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!  This is wonderful news.  I know how hard the waiting and wondering was!  Pat yourself on the back - you are the Proud Mom of a USN Sailor!  All the best to you.  I'm so glad his dad will be able to see him.  That was like Christmas in July for me.  If he can go to the airport to see him off - I had 6 hours with my Sailor - it was great!

Thank you!!  He didn't call yet..I pulled up FB to see if anyone was getting I 'm a sailor calls yet and he was logged on!! so I sent a message and asked him of course "what are you doing on here?"  and he said he passed his run on Wed and did Battle Stations last night and he has liberty all weekend, the cool thing is my husband is working in Chicago this week and is going to be for the weekend so he is going to go up and take him out..

sandy, that's great! the more educated families are the easier it will be for them to get thru this rough and uncertain time.

They answered me back and rather quickly, and I kinda started a discussion on there, maybe it was a good thing for the loved ones who are not apart of this wonderful group, they can get some questions answered they might have been afraid to ask..Oh and they answered honestly..

I put a post on the RTC  FB page and asked them how FIT works, interested in what they will tell me, if anything..

I think it is horrible what happened to keger. I thought they called you well in advance to let you know that your SR was not passing.
