I appreciate the prayers angelwproudmom, i know we all share a common bond
we were going to leave tomorrow and enjoy the Fireworks on the road as we made our way from fla to GL, watching the count down clock from day one till now under 4 days has been my inspiration to just have only a few hours w/our boy knowing he was to head out saturday. Will have to get thru it somehow for both our sakes. Much luck to everyone!
Parrothdgal I will proudly do that as soon as I receive her picture.
we are so excited can't wait to see her.
I probably wont hear from her until Wed with the I'm a Sailor call.
One more thing to get a call saying I passed the PFA after in FIT is highly unlikely!!! Someone must have been feeling real nice! You will normally not know till after BS! It Sandy did not tell you that already!
ProudsistahOkay well this is what you say... I have not spoken with my SR in over a week ;o) I have a flight out TOMORROW and I need to know weather or not to get on that plane! Then you can get information. HOWEVER only if you sr fill out a release to give you information! That is offered to them in P days!chicinge Remember when you get the call after BS for most it can be 45 minute call HOWEVER if your new sailor can only task 2 or 3 because he did not go to BS with his DIV so him calling on that DIV's time is a favor. Sad but heck you are in the home stretch at that point and will get plenty of contact after he busts outta there! Hang in there he will be just fine!!!!!!!I just wanted to say Thank you to all,
every one on this site has been wonderful and kind,
navyrocks,Hang in there we all know how you are feeling .
you are in my prayers.
Angel WOW WONDERFUL...WE ALL KNEW SHE WOULD!!!!! BS is a cake walk no more worries!!! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA You will see her soon!
ok i understand and will keep faith , i know what you mean about weight loss ,i sure cant eat or sleep so stressed which is not good for one on cancer meds . Will keep strong for my guy and it aint over till its over.
Happy 4th to all!
Thankyou here4kids=sandy
Im pretty lost in all this because he didnt mention "Fit Div" that i recall, Is there a link that tells me about this more, What happens, is it more 1 on 1 training? Special nutrition ect. I know over the last 3-4 weeks he has been sick w/congestion and coupghing up ect so this im sure is not helping matters, but how can they make a person run faster. I will heade your advice about calling
and i hope being today is Captains cup and a fun day maybe they will let him call or even tomorrow(mom can hope anyhow) Like everyone says he may get another shot and get to grad w/his division. He was to be a grad n go as it was leave on saturday so we would only have few hours with him but it is worth making a 20 hour trip plus no matter what. Im so "green' at this so thankyou for replying and being patient.
Hello all, I got the dreaded call last night730pm scripted call "Mom dont head up to Grad i didnt pass pfa and for the life of me i didnt expect a call that late so i was unprepared and not even sure if he said he was asmod, it is the running he has had problem with. I am so upset as we were leaving Monday for his grad on 7-8 He is ship 12/223 or was i dont even know. Diannep-veteran has told me get in this group but i can hardly keep it together,i wanted to see my kid so bad like everyone. I have been tempted to start making calls to get clear answers but do not want him to be in trouble. My understanding if he doesnt get to pir on july 8 he will not get a ceremony since they ship them off to A school, this is just heartwrenching.
Well i will watch you all and still hold out hope.
Bless them all!
