d-aqua-ma: our sons will make it, by the grace of god. Today I was hoping they keep them busy so they won't be think about the graduation going on and the other sailors with their families. I will keep posting whenever I get info or hear from my son please do the same.

welcome. it hurts like hell right now, but know fit isn't the end of the world. my sailor was in fit for 3 weeks, passed on his 7th try. he's been in just over 4 years, made e-5 under 4 years, is 5 classes away from his bachelor's degree (compliments of the US Navy ta program) and has his plans all ready for his dual masters, again, on the navy. (when he told me this I asked where this goal oriented, driven kid was for the 13 years we had him in school!). point is, the 3 weeks in fit is a far distant memory for him. your sr's will make it to fleet and excell, too! please scroll back and read my old posts. the advice is still the same. when you get the call it will mean lots more to you than it did to any of their division mate's parents. it will come!

Lorraine, Hard call to get even harder to wait for the next. It will come just might take awhile. All I can say is that thank God for Sammy 1990! If it wasn't for her we could not have made it trough waiting for the call from our daughter. It took a while but she made it and I am sure your son will also. Will keep you and him in our thoughts and prayers.

Hi everyone, hope all is well. My son was supposed to graduation tomorrow. On Monday night he had a scripted call. He said he was pull out of his div because he didn't pass his swim test
He had one more chance on Tuesday, I haven't heard anything since then. I cancelled all plans last night. My heart is heavy, but God works in mysterious ways.

Kim, until you get the actual address from your sr, use the old one and add the line "now in fit". they will get it.

What address do you write to your SR when they are in fit?
