I got the call today! She passed her run and will be going through BS21 this week.
Keep the faith everyone. I will pray that all the recruits in FIT don't lose sight of why they did it all. Give them the courage that they need.

I hope this helps, but I told my son to humm a song while running and keep pace with the rythmm. They could fast walk in a group around the barracks practicing their breathing. If they time the walk and do a little math they could figure out their pace and transfer that over to the run. For instance if you know how long one trip around the barracks is figure out how many times around is a mile and half. You walk those times around several times a day working on your breathing and pace. The second bonus is they are engaging their minds and bodies and not getting bored. They will also be head of those in the fleet. PFAs are given 2 a year it is up to the sailor to self discipline and be prepared. Keep up the positive attitude and prayers to you all.

I got a similar call. She told me about the training time out on Friday. She was also sure she was going to pass then. They try again either tomorrow or Wednesday. If they knew they were going to pass then, they'll pass soon!
I'll pray for them.

This divisionshould rdc wants them to pass. They work with them sometimes individually if that is what is needed. Your srs have come a long way to have a few seconds hold them back. I try and remind mine everyday how proud of his accomplishments we are. Look at all those who didn't make it to bc, or through all the tests and inspections. These srs from fit know that if they stumble they can get back up and move on.

I know it is hard,,, but while in FIT,, no news is good news,, that means they still have time to try...when you get a call it will be a status change,, for the good, saying they passed or for not so good that they will be separated.  Keep the faith usually they get a code for their release that they are eligible to go back in 6 months with a waiver... encourage them to do that ,, so they can still follow their dream.  Some will say no because boot is a very hard time, emotionally, mentally, and physically.  Not that they are weak but once around was enough for them.. hugs and prayers that you all get great news.!!!
