She is a nice Mom like all of us and sure was very interested of meeting the other Moms. Like she said we should get together hopefully soon. :-)

Hi Katlanta, thanks for the input as far as I know she is leaving from Fort Gillem, Ga. Right now she only goes there every week, maybe after next week she will go every other day I have no idea. The date is till the same June 27th. She will get a good hair cut a week before the 27th. Short below her ear this way they will not do nothing to her hair. Also she said she won't have time to do anything to her hair while at boot camp. We are alle xcited and sure will fly to Great Lakes for the graduation. I hope we all can get together after July 4th. We are  undecided to where to go for July 4th we are planning to go see the family at Plant City in Florida, we both have families in Miami and Sarasota too. But my youngest is coming here and I know she did not enjoy the vacation in Florida before, all the kids there are younger than her sso for her it's boring life. You know teenagers she loves her friend too much so I don't know what to say to that LOL. At least Avia will do good to her life. My oldest was doing great too she is in Oceanside California living with her boyfriend and going to college and work. But my youngest sshe just turn 17th last May all I can hear she wants to be with her friend all the time. hope that change. I missed all the Navy Moms it's been a while since the last get together so lets plan it next month. have a good weekened. ladies watch tha "PROMETHEUS"in IMAX it's a good movie we can see it again. Act of Valor was good too and we have seen it 3 times already. The Battleship twice already. Matthew loves movies hah hah hah.

Hi GA Navy Moms! My son left for BC Wednesday. Each day is a little easier but I can't wait to receive his form letter so I can send him the letters I've already started writing. :) Please let me know about any plans to meet as I would welcome that. Thanks for all the shared information and support.

Kathy, it's been a while that we have lunch with the other Moms and Dads. I would like to have one again but seems like nobody was really interested right now. Yeap it's getting closer and closer. Avia is starting to get excited for her new adventure. She has been spending lots of time with me like going to the gym and work out do the Zumba and Aqua Fit too. She said she want to eat at Cheese Cake Factory the day before she will ship to Great Lakes and she want Orange Cheese cake to go so she can eat this for her midnight snack at the hotel. She got her nail done I don't how they will do the nails can she get her nail done while on boot camp? She will cut her hair short two days before she leave short this way she doesn't have nothing to do with it just take shower and brush LOL. This week is her last week to work so it works out good for the good. Got her direct deposit form ready for her. i would like to take her at the base and see her fly can I do that? According to her I we can take her at the hotel, and she will go from there. They are two from Atlanta that is going maybe more from other part of Georgia I hope. Anyway we are all excited for her. She was counting on the days now. Well keep you posted of the news :-)

Hi Betty, that would be nice to have a get together. Seem like nobody was interested right now. Let me know when and where okay. My daugther been going to the Navy Office every week now. She will be ship for boot camp on June 27th. She graduate High School last week. Now we are just waiting for the time for her to leave. She is more excited than it used to be I guess becauz she keep in touch with Jon, he is new in the Navy and he is in A school. He is giving Avia a lot of help by answering all her questions. And this really helps a lot with her anxiety.
