Merry Christmas and Happy 2011 to all my good friends and moms. And may most of you be blessed with  having your sailors home. We'll get to see ours on Jan. 2 at the Christening of his first born, then stay on for 5 days before heading home and shipping out a few weeks later. Love to all this special time of year.

Italy is such a great duty station.  I know it's far away Pam but start saving your $ because it is one road trip that you will want to take!

LOL Mary - we are swimming in pink around here now!!  My oldest, Jamie, is packing up today for his duty over in Italy.  Luckily, we have Christmas with him this year and who knows, Italy may be where we spend next Christmas!

Good morning all and a special welcome to our newest members!

Got a chance to see Florence yesterday as we both worked with Operation Homefront.  Florence's fingers are probably swollen shut from all of the great presents she wrapped!

I missed the Truman's coverage Irene but I did see a video someone posted.  So happy for their families that the ship came home in time for Christmas.

Thanks Diane, I so understand how excited you are about your new granddaughter!   We have purchased our airline tickets and will be heading to NY right after the holidays.

Pam, I can understand why she would be spoiled!  Oh yeah...a baby girl after 15 years of boys!!  Yep, I bet you bought a lot of dresses!!!

Jean...happy for you girl  :-)

Lost Navy Mom...love your name!  I don't believe we have anyone from that division in the group but we do have others in boot camp.

Hope everyone is feeling that holiday spirit!

Mary - the makings of a beautiful southern belle!!  My daughter is four and I had her 15 years after I had my two boys, so she is spoiled rotten!  But, I always say, you can't spoil them with the love!

Lost Navy Mom - Have you tried connecting with other's in your ship / division on the bootcamp moms forum?

Mary - congratulations on your new, beautiful granddaughter. And, I think the headbands are too cute. Though on our granddaughter, they looked almost as big as she was! Hope you get to hold her soon!

Mary she is just so beautiful.  She favors her Grandma. I know you can't wait to get to NY.

It's been too quiet in here so I thought maybe you needed a smile...

What a great Falcons game tonight!

Hope our sailors are enjoying their leave.
