For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Thanks for all the great suggestions. My son and I like a good easy to moderate hike, but my wife has balance issues. Maybe we'll have a chance for a father-son hike.

WearsLargeHats. You will love it here! I always start with Pearl Harbor and then I take off in my sons Island Beater...big, old truck! I have been here for two weeks and have hit about a dozen coves and beaches. I try and stay away from the touristy stuff. The north shore surf has been 25 feet +...
an amazing sight to see!!! We cook up a storm, every night, with food from all the different markets...Phillipene, Japanese and Korean!! Have fun!!

Me three! Seems like Hale Koa in May is the place to be.
I'm trying not to over-schedule. We have to go to the Pearl Harbor memorials, of course (Arizona, Bluefin, Missouri, and the Air Museum). That is a day or two half-days. I definitely want to go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay. There is a Luau at the hotel on Thursdays, Fireworks on Friday.

Hello everyone Happy New Year! With y'alls help we finally made reservations to visit our sailor in Honolulu this May. We made reservations at Hale Koa Hotel, it looked beautiful, so thank you for the recamendations. Since I got such great info on hotels/resorts I was hoping y'all could recamend activities while we r there. I looked at a few on Expedia and AAA but would really like to hear what y'all have to say.

Hello all...;))) My youngest Sailor just got to Pearl Harbor and is staying with my Nuke and his wife. It was the first time my son had seen his Nephew and they boys have been apart for over a year and a half. My youngest sailor will celebrate his birthday while he is there. Do any of you know how I could send a bunch of balloons? The kids are stationed on the Army base. Thank you and Happy New Year!!!
