got a note from a soldier of the new army group that we mailed to this week-that was fast!

Hello Ginnie  I am very happy to have received your pillow case
on my deployment in Kuwait. It's very special to me because I actually
lost one of my favorites in the laundry while I've been here. Maybe one
of the transcontinental nationals liked it as much as I did! Anyway it
had fish on it and I have had it for quite some time. I love the
outdoors and so I picked another favorite of mine (now), one with bears
on it. The pillow cases are very nice and feel incredible, I can't wait.
I'm going to buy another pillow tonight to use it.

Thanks again for your patriotism and support for those who serve.

V/R,

SGT Jacob xxxxx

I am alittle behind on posting in here, but here are 3 photos from the group that my kinders "choose" pcs to send to.  One of the kinder's dad is deployed with them:

1.   the kinders and me

here is a thank you note from that unit and a photo of some of them:

Thank you for the pillow case!  Tell Daniela from Mrs.. Bantlin's class that I like her turkey picture!
Thanks for the pic, it looks like a great class.  I forgot to mention that I am the one holding the flag on the stripes side.  Thats me with my group of rescue medics.  We fly and pic up injured people in Afghanistan.

Tell the class we appreciate everything and are sleeping well on the nice cases!

Another photo from the 55 Medvac, some holding their pcs:

This note came on Thursday and then a new reply this morning.  I love that our pillowcases are like the Energizer bunny!  We just keep giving comfort from home with them!

Dear Wednesday Night Stripper Quilt Club:  The men and women in our section REALY appreciate the pillow cases we received.  The tents and barracks buildings were pretty dreary, so your splash of color made us smile.  I will be keeping mine for a long time to come.

Thank you so much for your gift, and for your efforts.

Hi Chris

Thank you for writing to us at Heads at Ease!  We really appreciate thank you notes!
I do have to say, that we haven't mailed to the Army for a long time so I am curious
about your note.  Are you able to tell me your unit name?
Ms. Lamberson: I received my pillowcase in 2012 when I was with the 3d Sustainment Command stationed in Afghanistan.  I still have it with my deployment equipment. The material and the stitching were really nice. I will take it with me the next time I deploy.
Thank you for getting these to us.
 V/R  Colonel Chris   US Army
