Hi ladies,
I just checked and we are going to Kuwait. It's a medical clinic. The staff numbers 30, with 20 male and 10 female. They want the packages mailed between 10-24 and 10-30.
Check out Molly's page for details.

Sue, I can provide a female pillowcase. I'll let you know if I can do more after the USS New York project is done.
Hello all!
The medical clinic staff has 20 males and 10 females... they serve 40 or more injured a day... some days they serve 'crazy numbers'. Thanks so much for each stitch you make in honor of our military!
Count me in, please.
Susan, I am curious about how this works. If the injured do not stay there, where do they go? So it's 30 staff, not 25.
I am trying to figure out if we could do some for the injured. Molly suggested to me that we just concentrate on the stafff. And I think that's probably what we will do.

Next week, I am going to make a chart of the requests that I have received. I need to write it down cause it is getting overwhelming trying to remember it all.
Sue,

If you really want to do any of the injured, perhaps we could ask the staff to get names of those who are injured seriously enough to be hospitalized. One problem, as I understand it, is that the injured "come through" and do not stay. This means we would need an address of the individual as well. That could well change by the time we find out the information. As nice as it would be, I don't think it is practical. I wonder how many of the injured are sent on to a hospital. Another option would be to send 30 extra pillowcases to be distributed to these soldiers.

You have lots of requests that are more easily handled. I think we focus there. Since we can handle Molly's group, we should.
yes, I agree Dori. and then I think, what if 1 more comes than there is pillowcases. So, the staff of 30 it is.

thanks for the input.
I would say do the staff of 30... The injured they are headed into or out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Most are able to still stay in their barracks or tents and with their units. Sometimes it is a rebandage or a wound or smaller injury that does not require hospitalization. If they do require overnight stay they are routed to another unit.
thanks for the extra information Susan! the staff of 30, it is. I have 33 female pillowcases, so I will be glad to send some on.
Sue, here is a picture of the pillowcases I have. I only know how to send them by an attachment. Hope you can see them.

Marlo, you did an awesome job on the pillowcases. I need to get busy too, just to catch up with everyone. Again, Beautiful work, a job well done. T
Hi Marlo, I could see them. You got some different prints. That's always fun to see. Looks like some are solid colors and maybe some flannel?

We will be glad to have them in the coming months. So hang on to them and I'll let you know where they can go. did your neighbor get my postcard? Please thank her again.
Okay, Marlo, I just found your picture. Can you commit to mail these 20 to this group? I will do the other 10 as the females. I have some lavender Tweety nurse fabric, plus some other crazy doctor chili pepper fabric. hard to explain.

So ladies, this group is covered. But we need help in the Mystery thread. Check it out.
