Hello!
I think that the lip balms would be the best thing of all! My friend's son is currently in Afghanistan. He was able to get home for a short visit and recently returned to Afghanistan.
The top item on his wish list was wet wipes. He said that there are times when the water is frozen and they are unable to wash up. He also said that if they are out for an extended period of time, the only water they have is drinking water. No one is able to wash up properly.
If you have more items to donate let me know and I will pass his address along to you or I can meet you and I will send the items to him. I am sending a box of wet wipes, tylenol and tums this week. i am always sending boxes because the guys really do appreciate everything that is sent to them.
The USO is also a wonderful place to send bath and body products. Many of the airport USOs have showers available for military to use. They have a small budget to provide military members with essential items. They accept all types of donations.
Have a great night,
Laura
