I just closed the discussion rather than delete the Rockford first group--that way you won't lose any contact names. I can take it off if you prefer--just let me know!

Sorry having some problems - called my fingers and now looks like my hearing is going too. Can we delete that Rockford meet and greet in the Discussion Forum? That meet is no longer. Or do we just start a new one? Maybe Jeannie, that is where the meet for Ocotober can be placed and everyone can respond there. TLynn Chat tomorrow - eyes have blurred.

I'm not sure I can come as it's the weekend of the Navy Ball in the Quad-cities. Too bad Rock Island is inconvenient cause that could be fun for all of us to attend. Whatever you decide to do, just a suggestion--if you contact a hotel, they'd probably give you special rates, plus a hospitality room.

Springfield would be awesome--J and Michele--we could ride together and still pick up one or two more down in SW Illinois!

Jeannie, I would be very interested in attending. Couldn't make it to Rockford last Sat. and it sure sounds like it was a great time! Oh, I live in Carol Stream and driving downstate for such a great event doesn't bother me at all. Pat

Oct 17 is a great weekend and I would love the meet and greet to be in Springfield. Thank you for organizing this.

Jeannie
Love your pix and whoever did the sign gets extra kudos! So glad your group has met.
Carol
PS--Navy Dad Mark--you know you are welcome.

Jeannie-re,
Now Jeannie you cannot be brain dead - I already have that job.
You are just on stand by until that great idea comes into view. By the way - sounds like Navy Dad wants join in - so lets pick on him - I mean lets ask him to participate in ideas. Hey my husband is starting to get interested from seeing the pictures and seeing all the chatter - as he calls it. I am going back to the old way I brain storm - cup of coffee - put on some zoning out music
( Sammy Davis, Dean Martin, Beach Boys, Beatles) and take a pen and paper and just start writing down ideas. Send them to you later. Have a good morning all :) . TLynn

Ok - Jeannie - are you up to this challendge? Your dedication to details - infomraitonal index cards - name tags - table deocrations - candies - and a POSTER for all to see. It looks like Navy Moms and Dad NEED to get together.
I know what I can bring - several more boxes of kleenex! Now we need a photographer. Ok - Captain Jeannie - waiting for orders. TLynn PS Navy Dad I think you qualify.
