Should we meet at Cheddars for lunch at 1:00, eat and yak and then check in at the hotel then pack a few boxes??  Then we can eat popcorn let melt into happy hour snack and have few drinks, then yak some more and come what may! ? !

Comment by Dodie on February 18, 2013 at 10:29pm

I would love to drive up that day and meet all of you for lunch. I'm only 45 mins away & I'm used to the drive because I work in Springfield.

Could you pick a couple of restaurants to vote on? Also, would you all like to learn how to do a packing party for Molly's Adopt. Sailor? If so, we could help some of our deployed troops with a requested list of donations

Angie, yes I typed in FUN.  I am sure it is like airline tickets, the prices change all the time.

Update for everyone - we decided on April 20, 2013 to meet in Springfield.  Several of us would like to stay at the same hotel.  Angie found a good rate at the Drury hotel in Springfield.  The promo code we used was FUN.  If you have AAA you can try that, too.  It includes a hot breakfast and a happy hour.  We still need to choose the time and place to meet for lunch on Saturday.   Please let us know if you plan to come.
