Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Bloomington always works for me but if there is another city you gals wanna meet up at just let me know. I am willing to travel. Holler out a day(preferably a weekend if at all possible), a place, and a time and I will do everything I can to be there.

We had our oldest sailor here for a week and it was wonderful to here is deep hearty laughter in our house for a week.....Sent him back to his ship this past Sunday and now it is so quiet here ......Ain't going to lie......."see you laters" stink! You would think after five years I would be used to this..... I can say that it doesn't get any easier but at least the tears and sadness don't last as long as it used to!

Was very sad to have to send him back but he is now back and getting ready for that first deployment. Any day now he will be heading out with a portion of his Marine unit. Not looking forward to it but it is what he signed on for so I must be strong. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Have an amazing night or day gals.
