Well gals if you wanna get together just let me know. I am up for seeing you wonderful gals again. Missing all of you. Bloomington always works for me but if there is another city you gals wanna meet up at just let me know. I am willing to travel. Holler out a day(preferably a weekend if at all possible), a place, and a time and I will do everything I can to be there.

Pentwater98-  I would love to get together with some other moms.  What area of Illinois do you live in.  I am up north in the Elgin area.  Anyone else from this area and would like to meet up somewhere?

I am up for a get together as long as it isn't on the 26th. Starting to really need to talk to my Navy Sisters someone who knows what I am going through and understand my feelings..

So glad you got to see one of your sailors Angie. It is always amazing to have our kiddos home. Always hard to say "later" to them and send them back.

Barb you are sooooooo right we do need to all get together soon again. Kinda missing all of you gals.

Have a great night everyone.

Hi All....   We had our oldest sailor here for a week and it was  wonderful to here is deep hearty laughter in our house for a week.....Sent him back to his ship  this past Sunday and now it is so quiet here ......Ain't going to lie......."see you laters" stink! You would think after five years I would be used to this..... I can say that it doesn't get any easier but at least the tears and sadness don't last as long as it used to!

Hope all you gals had a wonderful New Year's celebration. I had a wonderful week and a half with my son. Was very sad to have to send him back but he is now back and getting ready for that first deployment. Any day now he will be heading out with a portion of his Marine unit. Not looking forward to it but it is what he signed on for so I must be strong. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Have an amazing night or day gals.
