Hi everyone! I'm not sure how I didn't get in on this group earlier...but, I'd love to see this group get active again! I'm from Baton Rouge, my Sailor graduated BC on 4/19 and is currently in A School in Pensacola for AO training. Hoping he will graduate on July 2 and then get to come home before shipping to his next duty station.

Hello to everyone! Great to hear about all your children. We should all be very proud. My son is in Norfolk. He will wing next month. He's an E2C Hawkeye NFO (the eyes and ears of the Navy). After winging he'll be stationed in Point Mugu, CA then deploy for the first time. Don't know yet what Carrier Group he'll be assigned to. He will also be promoted in the next week or two to Lt. JG. Very proud of him. Cant wait to go to Norfolk for the winging. It's been a long road.

Not very much activity but I would love to hear about our Louisiana kids, where they are and what they're doing.
