Sean missed honor man for basic electric by like 1 point. he was bummed but got over it quickly. he's doing really well overall and could possibly get a promotion from mail PO to assistant class leader! i hope he hears soon because i love when he gets good news

he was supposed to take his phase up pfa today... havent heard anything yet (probably because of the heat) cross your fingers that there are no black flags tomorrow!

Thanks, Nicole! :)

Just wondering.. Aaron won't be doing comps for another 2 months, but it's nice to know how much to worry :)

Question... Does anyone know the statistics as to how many people fail comps? Just wondering... I hear a lot of people that pass. Are there a lot of people that fail? And if they do fail, what happens?

P.S. Congrats Nicole! I already told you on facebook, but I didn't want to ignore you on here :)

Hope- 5 days doesn't seem bad... my son is a car freak! he loves to be in the car, but he just turned 2 on the 10th so I'm sure we will have to stop more often than we really want to... plus i think we have something like 8 days to make it, and we were hearing that he may get like 3 "freebie" days since it is a holiday weekend.... not getting my hopes up about that one though!
did you guys use a moving company to move your stuff, or did you drive the truck and move it all yourselves?

Sumi- I know how you feel. When my husband graduated, I got to see him for like 6 hours.. then he had watch.. and had one of the early flights out the next morning! We drove here from Victorville, CA and took the 40... It took us 5 days with stops for the evening. My son did not like the trip at all! He will be two this August so he wanted to run and play, which is part of what took longer then we wanted. Your husband will have to make a itinerary that he turns in with where you are going, where you are stopping, ect. Your not supposed to drive more then so much each day.. I think 850 miles... I could be wrong.. We did a tiny bit more then we were supposed to each day. So thats a great goal! you can both work together on it.

when i looked it up on Google maps it said 36 hours... I'm in riverside CA....
and oooh yes the I-10 is a beast!!

my goal after i get the rest of packable things packed...(ie.. things not in use)
is to map out our route with hotels (maybe a few food stops) just so that we know where we are going and have places to stay...
we decided not to bring our dog till we visit california again, that way she can just fly straight over instead of having to drive with her
