Thanks! I know where a couple of things are on base, like the Nex and commissary.... haven't had a chance to check out the pool yet. My son's birthday is in August also and he'll be 3.

Hi Hope!
Thanks for the friend request. What job is your husband going in? I've been on N4Ms for a long time, but the RDCs in my son's division were getting on here on our division page, and reading posts, and making the division pay for anything the moms/wives wrote, so needless to say, I've been a little untrustworthy of this website. I deleted my entire profile and had to start anew. I know now that Jordon's at A school, but I still am a little apprehensive on posting too much info.

Anyway, thanks again for the friend request. Becky

That sounds soo fun! This is really sad, but I've never been to six flags.. or any kind of theme park! So I don't know what I'm missing! Well, from what I hear, when Greg graduates bootcamp, he'll stay in Great Lakes for a week.. well that is what the reruiter said and I'm not taking it that serious.. and once he gets his orders, he flies to Charleston to get paperwork and housing settled, and he comes back here to move me and the kids because he has to be present for the move. That's what I heard. I really hope that's true!

Wow, I soo did not get an email notif. about your comment. whoops! But yeah, so I guess you got married 3 months before Greg and I. That really sucks that he won't be there for your first anniversary. He'll make it up to you. :-) Heck, I'm pretty sure my husband will forget our anniversary amongst all of the work he's going to be doing! Haha

Aw you're doctor tortured you! Poor thing! And Aw that is cute that they are almost exactly the same age! Haha. But oh, I actually live in Indiana.. northern Indiana I should say. I'm about 2 hours away from Great Lakes, so his mom is going to drive me there with her.. and whoever else my husband decided to put on the guest list. We're going to go there to the graduation without the kids, then come home later that night.. and then the next day bring the kids. I'm wanting to do a DITY move as well. Gotta see what he says first!

Haha, yeah, they're doing okay, but it's still not the same! And yeah I feel ya on that.. week three and it seems we got forever left.. I rather be in week three than just starting, that's for sure. But aw your son is 19 months? when was he born? My daughter was born Aug. 16th 2008. But yeah for a while i was stressing about the moving situation.. apparently they fly down there and set it up with the housing, then come back and move us and the kids.. i felt so much better after hearing that
