I tried to avoid the bootcamp reading... It tended to depress me more. But I did lots of research on getting married and the Navy. It helped to look to the future :)

Aaronsgirl11,
I did the same thing. It helped me pass the time. I read everything I could find about the Navy, bootcamp and NNPTC.

That was definitely a much visited site when Aaron was there. I probably checked it multiple times a week just to wait for his division to move up a spot :) And I think I read everything on that site... Even the sections for staff and such. I guess I like to have as much info as possible? :)

I'm not sure which Quality Inn you're talking about but if it's the one right by the airport, it's closed for remodeling. I was planning on staying there but they called (at 530am mind you) that they would be closed starting June 1st. I'm not sure when they'll be reopening but if you plan on staying there or want to, I'd call to confirm they're actually open.
So now i'll be at the Comfort Inn right by the Northwoods Mall. I'll give a review when I'm there next weekend!

Hi Casey, It's nice to see you on again. I was wondering where you were, you have such a nice profile pic. I hadn't been on in a while, my daughter graduated college and was commissioned an Ensign then we had her grad party then I got a sinus infect. I don't post a lot. I get info to pass on to my son who is in A school in Goose Creek. My husband and I were down this past weekend to see him and bring him his car. We stayed at the Quality Inn and he was able to stay with us as he just made phase 3. We also brought our dog along. Had a great time. We plan to visit several more times. It is a long drive fro PA.

Alex- I'm the one that one tickets for the show. What area are yours in? I'll send you a friend request!! :D

Oh, and as far as patches go.. I learned how to sew just so I could do my husband's patches.. (and make shoes, purses, quilts...) but if anyone needs patches sewn on, I can do it pretty much instantly. Haha, I remember when that happened to your husband Kathy! I was able to sew them on for you, it was the night before inspection right? Anyways, I did most of them for my husband's classes, so I'm pretty pro at it now ;)
