Thanks for all of the info on the Nuke Moms page!  to answer your questions (and ask a few more of my own...) I am only about  hrs from Ballston Spa. Im right outstide of Philly, but our families live even closer than that, so there are plenty of halfway points should be get coordinating weekends/ things go well with the re-acquainting.

You said he would be on hold when he gets up there? Sean graduated Power School back in June, and has been on hold since then in Goose Creek. He told me (unless he misunderstood) that he starts prototype August 29th.  Personally, I find it hard to believe that they would start a prototype class so close to the end of a fiscal year ( Maybe he forgot that I know when the new yr starts in the navy... October)

did your husband have hold in SC AND in NY?

I kind of figured he would have most weekends off to start. But he as always strived to be the top of his class ( was honorman in A School) so Im sure he will study on the weekends too (whether mandatory or otherwise)

THanks for the heads up on possible lack of communication during the later stages of Prototype and the swing shifts. That shouldnt be a problem for me... When we were together when he was in A School, I told him not to worry about calling, and just make sure he was doing well. I dont NEED to talk to him as much as i WANT to talk to him :)

That sounds really awesome! Def. go to grad school, its worth it. Nik is hoping to do prototype in NY, which would work out perfectly for us. But we will see haha it sucks having no control. If they don't let him, I will be flying back and forth all summer to SC from MA, which will really stink!.

No, I have 1 years of grad school left, then a year of clinical rotations, so I wont be able to move where Nik is until my clinicals. I am hoping to do them near him. I will be in SC in March for a fews days however.
