Aaron did enough hours to get his homework done every night and put in an hour or two before each test. But apparently things are getting harder, as I've heard they will.

Thats great that he wants to help the others out! How long has Sean been at A school? Aaron's an EM too...

thanks Emily! Sean has a plan to still go to study hours. he just doesn't have to go for a 2 hr min... now he can go for an half hr if he wants each night just to keep up on things. He also can't wait for group study so that he can help the rest of his class ( he had a very strong math and physics background in college)

Hurray for Nicole! :) My boyfriend got off Vols today in A school! Booo. Oh well. I think the hours will be good for him. He's been on Vols for a few weeks now and has started to get lazy. I'm sure the hours will help him raise his average :)

The girl can sail, look at the above discussions above and look for " Your Sailors Schedule Upon Arrival". It has the rules for liberty and the different phases she will have. She can leaves base after classes end on Fri and stay out until midnight (actually 15 minutes after) can leave base at 5 am Sat and Sun. Can't drive or drink and has to wear her Navy clothes. Similar to bootcamp but a little more time away from base. She can meet you at the mini nex, bowling alley which is on Fletcher Street. You don't need anything spaecial to go there. Her barraks are a close 5 or so minute walk to there.

Yes, liberty, not Leave.

o and for a good link to a helpful online tool, go to the Sight Seeing discussion. I posted a pin point radius mapping tool to figure out just how far you and your sailor can travel
Comment by Nicole loves Sean (EM-N (SS)) on May 29, 2010 at 12:23am
but to clarify, the 350 is still LIBERTY... not LEAVE? they aren't charged LES right?
Comment by Dana (David's Mom) on May 28, 2010 at 11:30pm
The rule used to be 400 miles but has been recently change to 350 miles. Outside of the 75 mile radius they have to fill out a request (chit) which is usually granted unless their grades or other things are not up to par. If for family it can be expanded outside of that range, with permission.
