Hey ladies! For any of you who are living Navy Wives (or fiances) living in South Carolina there is a facebook group that can also help you with any questions.  It's also great to use for meeting other ladies in the area before you move or when you get down here.  I joined before I moved and it helped soo much with all the questions I have and it's great to meet some of the girls before you actually move down!

P.S. if anyone is interested in livingsocial.com, here's a link that'll get you 5 "deal bucks" towards your first purchase, whenever you'd like. And it gets me 5 deal bucks if you do ever get something too :) but I absolutely recommend it if anyone is visiting and looking for something to do or looking for a gift to give your sailor as a morale boost.

I like the watch picture idea.. that's a good one ill probably do that :) I do like those websites y'all suggested definitely going to keep those since i visit SC pretty often and we always have trouble finding stuff to do sometimes

Christina (or anyone else)- There's a site called Groupon.com and another one called Livingsocial.com. They have deals for the Charleston area, a new one everday (except only one for the whole weekend) and relatively inexpensive ones (you have to catch it). But you could give him one of the deals you think he'd like. Most of them are for restaurants or outings. I think it's safe to say our nuke sailors wouldn't mind being pampered/treated for free. I'm not sure how they give you coupons for non-online things like restaurants (I've only ordered their online-only deals cause I'm not in Charleston yet). But if anything, you could make him a coupon of what it is and mail it to him, kind of the same with the watch picture idea Darla had.

Okay I need advice! My boyfriend and I have an anniversary on the 12th (Saturday) I bought him a nice watch with our date engraved but the problem is it looks like it wont be here before Friday when I leave to SC. I know hes doing  A LOT for me this year and I feel like crap cuz I wont have his big gift. Any ideas of things to do in Charleston I could surprise him with? or semi-meaningful gift ideas (that arent too pricey since I spend a lot on his watch)

anyone with Ideas can message me on here so I dont blow up the discussion post

Thanks everyone :)

I'm a huge Gator fan too! I was going to Santa Fe up in Gainesville the last 2 years, and now I'm home for the semester, but will be back really soon. :) And well, for us A school was pretty okay as far as being able to talk to him and stuff, and T-track has been a complete 180 unfortunately. I'm going the weekend after actually. I'm gonna message you!

I live just west of Orlando so I am about an hour and half south of Gainsville (my boyfriend and I are huge gator fans so weve traveled there a lot lol). But I dont think it would hurt to message his friend just make it short and to the point. My Nuke is about 7 weeks into A school so I don't know too much about T-Track. I kind of feel like my Sailor is lucking out with the Navy thing. His bootcamp was easy, he had an easy indoc job, he sees his girlfriend every two weeks.. and hes smart so he doesnt need to study a whole lot to get the grades.. good thing he knows hes lucky cuz some guys have it harder than him.  Are you planning on going to SC this coming weekend?
