Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

Have any of you ladies checked out bandsforarms.com? It's a site that takes old donated service uniforms and turns them into braclets. 70% of their funds go directly to the USO. The USO helps to keep our Sailors in communication with us while away from home at no cost to them or us. Please take a look at their site and order your bracelet today. I have ordered 3 and have 3 more on the way. They have several made from Navy uniforms (and other branches). bandsforarms.com

jdmom65~ They can buy small tubes of baby shampoo at the mini mall for $2.00. They will be able to use the baby shampoo after about 10 minutes. I was also told any type of milk products help. I told my husband and he got a small thing of milk for his mini fridge. The milk will be able to be used once they get back to their room and they will want it then. The burn will continue for hours after the actual spray. My husband said that the milk helped with the lingering burn. They can buy anything they will need at the mini mall near their barracks. After the first few hours it feels like a really bad sun burn and that's what it looks like too. Also something most guys do not know is that they can take pictures of it. I;m making a scrapbook for my husband and I wanted to be sure to add pictures. As long as they have a disposable they cab have their battle bussy take the pictures. Battle buddy... they person who encourages them and helps them along the course. He's a pictures my husband got after.

Also, a group of Cub Scouts collected 25 boxes of stuff and they contacted Molly and asked for shipping money. How can she turn them down?

BrendaSue.....how fun for you :>) I LOVE Molly's Adopt A Sailor. It's such an awesome group. I vote everyday via facebook and just started the text voting.
EVERYONE...she's trying to obtain a "grant" to help pay for shipping costs. The group that is slated to get packages in August is almost 200, so shipping costs alone are almost $2500.00. We can use all the votes we can get!!

Please print out this document and pass it around. We are trying to win money for shipping costs to send packages to our deployed troops!
Send a text to 73774.doc

(Thanks - not really just an expert - just am good friends with Google.)
PS - I'm headed out Thursday to see my Sailor!!! yea!!!!
