Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

Hi Ladies & Gent, I am new to this group.  My sailor is in Sicily 9 hours difference from me (just deployed) he is an MASN.  I am having a hard time with him so far away for so long (2 yrs.)  N4M's has been a great source of support and comfort for me.  I am a member of 'Moms with Sailors in Sicily' but wanted to be part of the MA Moms group as well, since we all have Sailors doing the same jobs.  Victor is my first born so this letting go thing is all new to me...nothing like jumping in the deep end first, right!  I look forward to getting to know you and your Sailor's, God bless you!

When my sailor's class picked their orders there were only a couple of billets for Ex. Combat school, so 98% of his class went straight to their bases. They were told they could go for combat school later on if they wanted to. Interesting how things change from one class to the next.

No ma'am, it's on Navy for Moms!

My MA2 was there for two & after they (command) sent him back to Lackland to become a MWD (military working dog) Handler he stayed another year to pay back they confidence & favor.

The N4Ms group is one of the most welcoming, supportive & information savvy bunch there. Couldn't have made it without them. One February he left for boot & by Father's Day he had sandy feet. He'd never been away from us, we were desolate. Bahrain Moms got me through.

Hi, my son is currently at Lackland AFB until Feb. He will be going to Bahrain. They will be going to Mississippi before Bahrain for 6 weeks combat training.   Do the MA's normally do this before overseas deployment.
