Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

Is there any place that has a graduation schedule? Some people are saying the base will be closed Friday December 20th. So the graduation will be on Thursday. Is there anyway to find out for sure

Hi everyone. My son is in bootcamp now, but his job is MA. He was really excited about it before leaving. When do they find out where they go for A school?

My son graduated from MA school just last Friday (10-25) . He will be coming home on leave for 2 weeks and then going to Bahrain once his orders and plane tickets are processed. The government shutdown left alot of his classmates in holding for an undetermined amount of time. My son did the Zpattern spray...lol. Not sure if he will do that again...lol.

My son is going to Sasebo Japan. Fascinating area, Absolutely beautiful and lots of fun things to do. Will definitely be planning a trip to Japan. We lived on Okinawa when I was a kid, so will be nice to go back to Japan this time.

Mine is stateside after three years in the sandbox. Hated the heat, liked the folks he worked with. He was voluntold to pick the sand! Got a signing bonus & other goodies for that kind of duty.

Re: OC - Chris had to do it again in the sandbox. Like he said, "way too much fun, Mom".
