Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

Thanks for the info. on C schools.

redoctober, my son told me the OC spray is this Monday also. That is quick for just starting classes. He said graduation is December 6th, but I don't know if that is confirmed yet or not? Will ask him again next time I talk to him or text him. Love being able to communicate with him on a daily basis now.

Chris was recommended by a Kennel Master, handlers, the base CO & (wow) a government kennel inspector from the States! He spent many months doing volunteer grunt work, catching dogs, helping in the kennel before he was assigned as a MA Kennel Support. He earned his place by doing it "old school", but lately, some are chosen in A School to train.

When my handler was in school it was around 89, 90 days.

Amazonannie!  Thank you.

He did mention VA.  When you say goes "green" iinstead of "blue", i assume you mean their clothes?   Was your son also MA?

Good Morning!

Can anyone tell me about MA Rivron (Riverine Patrol).  My son is looking into doing that.  I briefly googled and researched it.  Not sure what to think.  Any comments would be greaty appreciated.   He did say it would be coastal waters though.  ?
