Hello
We look forward to hearing about your sailors journey. How he/she likes being an MAA (MA) and which kind of job they are doing and how you are doing knowing what your sailor does for a living.
NOTE: Please help keep our sailors safe. Don't give out exact locations.Example: If he/she is in Iraq you can say Iraq but I would not say the name of the camp or a town near the camp. If they are on a ship don't give the last known location. Although some of that is public we don't in anyway want to jeopardize them.

When our Chris was in Bahrain, for three years, he had a prepaid/pay as you go iPhone. We used iMessage (free) as one of our communication methods.

Caitsmamma, you might want to check into having your Sailor have a Skype account where she can call any phone in North America for $2.99 a month. See http://www.skype.com/en/rates/. That way she can call you through her iPhone or computer when you are not online.

Good afternoon everyone!  Well, this past Wednesday I took the day off at work to spend time with Caitlin before she left for her first post, AUTEC in Andros Island. Today is her first full day there.  She was able to suspend her Verizon account for 2 years since Verizon does not operate towers there. Thank goodness for technology, though, because we were able to "talk" through FaceBook chat and we will try to Skype each other whenever we can. Now another phase of the adventure begins...

Try the "San Antonio MA" page! LemonElephant will be a great help. There is also a week by week break down of MA school.

Best of luck!

Im hoping someone can help me. I have been looking for a group on here for those who go to San Antonio Tx for A school. I have not been successful. Does such a group exist?

There must be no rest for MAs. Jen, the GF, just messaged that Chris had to bring his OC spray certification up to date today. Yikes! Welcome again to the left coast! Oh, and HAPPY FRIDAY!?
