hi, I was advised to join this group since my son is in for MA. He left the 24th and got to BC on Thursday, I am very proud of him, but have serious meltdowns from missing him. will I b able to have more communication after BC? I have heard their day starts around 4 and ends btwn 8 and 10 pm. wow, that's a long day. how many hrs do they get for sleep???
SRRVTMom, There is info in Break down week by week within San Antonio MA's for you.
I read somewhere on here what to send to my sailor to get the pepper spray out of her hair, off skin etc. Could some kind soul tell me where that is, or what it is. I know baby shampoo i think I read somewhere. Was that all? Thanks in advance.
Hi. I'm new (my name is Mary) and my son (Kevin) is currently in bootcamp, day #6 now. I was advised to joing this group since his rate will be MA. Just an FYI - I'm a retired MAC - I got out in 95 when I had my son that has now joined. I retired early as I was a single mom. I loved the Navy. I became a MA in 1987 - I changed over from AZ. The school at the time was at Fort McClellan Al. I KNOW this rate has changed a lot since my days in. Thanks for letting me join.
halee... yes I am... and I can not wait...
halee, sometime between now and the end of BC you will also want to join San Antonio MA's; the discussion, Break down week by week, will let you know what happens at NTTC Lackland (San Antonio). The Page, 800 and 900 Divisions, within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will be of interest to you since you have a recruit in a performing division. I believe that Division 938 is Sticks/Flags. I invite you to join Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) while you are there and to check out the other Pages (found under the pictures of the members) as well. Division 938 had to wait for others to arrive and fill the division and then finish P-days. They had holiday routine for the first time on Sunday and were able to write, so you should be receving a "real" letter this week.
Hi moms. My son too will graduate 8/2. Div 938. I'm still waiting for a letter from him. Guess they had some mail issues in his Div. Laura , are you attending graduation ? I am.
