Congratulations HisMom!  I can't wait until I get the "I'm a sailor call'! My son is a week behind your son - PIR 4/22 if all goes well. I don't have a date for balltle stations yet.

PF Changs sounds like a good place to meet.  This is close to me as I am in Eldersburg.  It would be great to meet all of you!

HisMom, Woohoo!  Congratulations!  Oh you will definitely keep crying.  I cried during the entire ceremony of PIR.

Oh I forgot when they change over to their whites. When Paul grad in May he was in his Whites. Now that he is in SD they are already in their Whites- guess it depends on the place!

I personally like the Blues a lot. There is nothing quite like seeing a man standing straight in his uniform.... especially if it is your SON!

LOL my girls cry also.  We will need BOXES of tissues for this group.

I can not stop crying enough to leave work.  He will be in his Blues for his PIR.  NEXT WEEK 6 days from now.  WOO HOO.  I just spoke with him.  He sounded old.  I am so proud of him. And all the boys.

His mom- rejoicing with you! Congrats to your new sailor! Now you can breath! And the tears- well they will start all over again at his PIR! When you see him walk out in his Whites- have tissues handy that's all I can say!

When is his PIR?

Just heard the whole division passed.   It is official.  I have a Sailor.  Gosh I thought I cried a lot when my daughters got married..... not even close.
