Cindy- that's what my Paul did when he was on stand down at Christmas- I think he slept in his bed ONCE in the whole 2 weeks he was here. The station is much more fun then hanging around with the "old folks"!!! He said he would spend more time with me when he gets here on the 25th before heading off to SD on the 31st.

He'd better because I took off work for 3 days! When does your Paul go back?

I want to say E-3?  He will be a HT I think he said E-3 to start and when he is finished school he will be an E-4  not sure though.

I found out A school means Apprentice school-DUH!  lol  so no there would not ba a B school unless it stood for something significant other than a letter of the alphabet.  ::rolling my eyes at myself:::: jeesh

Cindy- he will be home a lot I would imagine and bringing his sailor buddies with him! You will have a house full of nice young men! That was what I was hoping for if Paul could have got stationed in VA.

His- Cindy is right. No "B" school. And there is no telling at all the wait times. Every rate is different as is every school. And of course not all rates have C. Your son will know. What is his rate?

Okay  time to ask ... what is the amount of time between the phases of schooling..ex:  A school to B school to C school..  I assume the further down the alphabet you go the more specialized it is.

Yeah Cindy! That's great he got his orders. What will he be doing ?

I got good news. My son called and he got his orders to SD and will be coming home before he heads out there. Reports to the base on April 2nd! He is thrilled he got that base for C school and also what he will be training for. The school is long- 6 months- but what a great place to be to train! Anywhere but GL he said!
