Cindy- i will pray that you will sell and find something more affordable. It is a tough market but it's getting better and the spring is a better time to sell.

Cindy where are you moving too?

Betsy- a man and his "stuff"- not easily departed! I can't imagine trying to empty a house of 20 years or more of stuff. All our kids are grown and gone and we STILL have there stuff!

Hismom, thanks.  Your husband and mine could be brothers.  I have stressed for 26 years over all the stuff in our garage (which is his domain) lol

Cindy, I know where Hereford is.  It's funny, even after 12 years of being away Maryland, I still remember my kids being jealous of your area when it snowed. We lived in Baltimore county and when it snowed, it always seemed that the only place that was closed all the time was the "Hereford Zone".    lol
Lori, thank you for the prayers, I'm doing a lot of cleaning out, but if you noticed my comment to Hismom, you would see how much of a challenge it can be to get my husband to do it.  :(

You are close Cindy.  Everyone is fine but never in a million years would I have thought that happened in real life!

Betsy thanks for the link.  Maryland in Mid May is beautiful.  Welcome!  As much as I hated moving into my new house I took advantage of the opportunity to clear out all that stuff that built up over the many years.  Now if only my husband could get on the same train of thought.  He is a packrat!

Betsy at least you will be arriving at a good time of the season. I don't envy you with having to clear out a house and all the details but I do pray it will all be with it!

lori, thank you.  I can't wait to meet you too.  Now the madness begins, trying to get all the details taken care of and driving back east.  :)

Betsy- that's wonderful news! So happy for you. Looking forward to seeing where you end up in MD. Hopefully close enough to visit! And hoping all goes well with the next stages of your sell/move.

JoanneB, ((hugs)) to you and your mom. My prayers are with you.
Liz, have you joined the PIR group for your son yet? If not, here is the link for his graduation date. I'm sure you will find it very helpful to be in that group too. http://www.navyformoms.com/group/pir4152011

Well guess what ladies? We now have a contract to sell our in New Mexico. I will be definetely heading back to Maryland to live in mid May. Woohoo! Please pray that everything goes well with our contract. We are so lucky because it only took 5 months for us to sell in this horrible housing market.

Lori-finksburg is near Westminster in Carroll County.  I am coping.  I am a little concerned about his "box"  It has been 9 days and it has not arrived.  I hope it didn't arrive today because if it did it blew away.  The winds are horrible.  Blew my neighbor's metal roof off the whole front of his house. Then picked my husband and helper up when they tried to move it.  I would have loved to have seen that!  I think Chicago got a big storm as well, thought I heard that on the TV this morning.
