Welcome Lindsaysproudmom and guanggao!  I hope you can come to the Navy moms lunch - we always have a good time.  My son is an EM on a sub in WA.  I did talk to him recently and he sounded good.

Joanne - I'm glad you got to see Kev.  And that really stinks about the earrings - our tax dollars at work with USPS!

Betsy-Thanks for setting up the FB page.  Now we can 'Like" comments :)

Ladies, I went ahead and created a Maryland Navy Moms group on FB since I wasn't able to find one.  You can invite any other MD moms into it.  Right now I have only included the members on here, whom I already have as friends on FB.  Here is the link for those who are not friends of mine on FB yet.  Please join us in the group and invite other MD Mom's that you think may also be interested in joining us.  I have made this group a closed group, so members will have to be approved.  We will be following OPSEC rules in this group, but since it is a closed group, we should feel comfortable posting.

Welcome back Joanne! Glad you spent time with Kev and he got to stay at the hotel with you.

That's a shame that the earrings never made it. Somewhere between NC and MD are your earrings.

I just got off the phone with Paul and he said he sat next to a guy on the plane on his way back to base to leave with his ship the Boxer. Made me wonder if this could have been Brandon's mom's boy?

lori- My daughter is supposed to be going to San Antonio for MA school but as of her last letter she hasn't heard anything yet, so I guess we'll see. I am so excited to see her in 3 weeks!! I watched part of the PIR today and it so amazing to watch.
