I was just wondering, LOL I have a very hard time following things on here LOL
That's a good question Carol. I've never looked. Guess that would be easy enough to do.
Is there a FB group for maryland navy moms?
guanggao- welcome to our group! You are the first MD mom to live so close to me! I live in Olney which isn't far from you. Tell us a little about your son if you would like.
Lindsay-your daughter's PIR is coming up! That is good news. I know you must live for any communication with her. Does she know where she will be going after GL?
We will steer clear of meeting the 12th. So how is everyone with the end of Oct? Say the 26th? How does that sound? It would be great to meet some of our new mom's on here.
i live in gaithesburg, md. i'd love to meet you when you have any activities next time. my son is at A school at Goose Creek.
Hi MD Moms,
Thanks Lori and Betsy! My daughter left on 7/16 and her PIR is scheduled to be 9/13. I have talked to her a few times on the phone and then a letter once a week usually on Thursdays (hoping I get one tomorrow!). That's it, just waiting until I get the "I'm a sailor" call.
I am in the Northern Baltimore County area (near Towson, Hunt Valley).
Oh my Carol , I am so very sorry to hear about your daughter and I do hope that she is healing and will PIR soon! I feel so badly for her and for you as her mom. Wow, she must have really had some bad shin splints! Blessings to her.
I would love to meet up with you all the next time you meet! The weekend of Oct. 12 is bad for me as well. I am having a baby shower for my oldest daughter that weekend. A baby boy is due early December!
Aww, thanks, Lori. That is sweet of you. I will be looking for a job when I come back and as long as I don't have to work on Saturdays, the rest of the month is great!
Betsy how about the end of Oct? Can't imagine having a lunch without you.
Nevermind, I just saw that Linda was out of town that weekend, but I still won't be back til the 7th, so if you want to plan without me this time, sadly, lol, I will understand.
Any chance on the 12th? I won't be back until Oct. 7, :(
