Joanne, I know, hasn't it?  You know it's kinda funny because I am always worrying about how he is doing and then when I find out he is just awesome, it's so wonderful!  Although I am getting emails now that he is worried about being able to re-enlist now, since his rate is 118% overmanned through 2014.  He said two other guys in his rate/rank were turned down.  Ugh!  Why do they allow so many to take those spots?  I keep telling him that they probably didn't get the  Awards that he has and that those should count for a lot, at least I hope they do.

I'm so glad to hear that you are starting to feel better.  Wow, it's really good to hear that they are trying to find out the source of your infection.  Do you think that you got it while you were in GA or back in MD?

I'm up for lunch real soon too.  Maybe early March?  Ladies, what do you think?

Lori, I can't wait to see it!  That's definitely worth having custom framed for sure.   Where are you having it done?

I am hoping to use a 60% coupon with another $10 off of that, that I got in my email today from AC Moore.  I have never had anything custom framed before, so I hope it doesn't cost a fortune.

Besty- you are one lucky mom! What an awesome thing for Adam to send you.

That letter is a keeper. Congrats to your son.

I am getting my sons Golden Shellback Certificate framed. It's costing me far more than I would have liked but I figured it's a one in a lifetime achievement, so what the heck! When I pick it up I'll post a photo of it.

Look what my deployed sailor sent us for Valentine's Day.  What a wonderful surprise!

lori, yes, she had it about 10 years ago and thinks it was from a burger that she bought from a sub shop and the last time was only about 2 years ago.  She didn't know where she got it that time because no one else in her family had gotten it.

Linda, ((hugs)) that's great that his fiance is keeping you up to date.

I have a letter to share with you all that I got from the Dept. of Navy yesterday.  Remember a couple of weeks ago, when Adam got Sailor of the Week?  Well, I just received the letter from the CO, magazine with his picture and write up in it and the picture.  I cried all over again after reading the letter.  :)

Joanne, that's a great pic of Kev. He looks so handsome! I hope now that you've got some meds that this will help get rid of the E Coli. Horrible. I'm so sorry friend.

Betsy- your sister had this TWICE? Does she know where she got it from? It makes me want to never eat again just thinking about it.

Joanne, I hope you're feeling better. E. coli - what a bummer! Great pics from Kevin's graduation.

No news from Joey - I probably won't hear from him until sometime in April.  He did email his fiancee and said he is doing well, likes the sub, and he is tired - pretty much what I expected.  I can't wait to hear about his adventures - at least the part he can tell me!

Joanne, ((Hugs)).  I hope your meds help you recover quickly.  My sister has had that twice, can you believe it?

Love the pictures, Joanne.  You look like one proud mom as well you should be.  He looks great!

Joanne, are you back yet?  We have been waiting patiently for pictures!  I'm so glad that you had a good time.
