Exactly what Lori said! I didn't look at your neck, just the proud look on your face, lol. I love the hug!
I'm so glad to hear that you can get your notifications now.
Joanne- who's looking at your neck anyway??? What i see is a proud momma keeping her eyes wide open so no tears come out! I'm glad you got the settings to work now. That is so weird. But it works so that's great!
Joanne, You look absolutely beautiful and very proud!
Those photos are great! Ok Joanne I checked with a veteran mom who heads up all new PIR sites and she said to contact the NNIG which if you scroll all the way down on this page you will see it on the blue screen which says "powered by NNIG." Contact them and tell them the problem. Hope that helps. Let me know and if it doesn't I'll ask Dianne again.
Joanne, I love them! What a great sendoff. Your son is such a handsome soldier. I know how proud you are of both of your boys. ((hugs))
Joanne, I have been thinking of you too. I'm sure it was stressful enough without all the mix up. Will you get an "I'm here" call when he gets there? Did you get my friend's FB link? You really should get in touch with her, if you haven't already.
Lori, I had one of my grand kids here last night, but the other one was sick. :( I agree, though, the empty house is a very strange still unfamiliar feeling. :(
Joanne I was just thinking of you now. Wondering how you were and how the last part of it went. So even the army goofs up on info! Paul's recruiter wasn't very good with his info when Paul had to go to MEPS. I'm glad you had the last night to hang out with him. Now Kev's journey begins and so does yours. I know it's not easy right now but each day that goes by will bring him that much closer to graduation. The big empty house- now that's something I'll never get used to! Only when the grandkids come does it feel "right."
Can you try what Anna suggested to get your notifications again?
I saw the messages earlier but couldn't get on FB.
Anna - I hope you had a safe journey today. Enjoy the time with your son!!!!
Prayers for you Joanne and for Kevin as he begins this journey.
Happy Halloween!
Lori, thank you for letting us know. I have been thinking about her all day, wondering if today would be the day. :( I will be praying for Kevin and her. ((Hugs)) to her.
Anna, Have a safe journey. I am so happy for you. Woohoo! Have a wonderful time.
Anna- YEAH!!! Safe trip and can't wait to hear how your sailor it doing! I know you will be bouncing up in down in your seat all the way there! So happy for you!
