Wow Joanne. I thought he was doing another job now and not subs? Will the Navy take care of getting the passport for him? Is there a "sub site" that you can find out more info?

Joanne, do you have a FB page?  Did you post pictures on it?  I would love to see them.  I'm so glad that you had a great time.  What wonderful memories you will have from that once in a lifetime trip.  :)

Aloha, from Hawaii.  I arrived yesterday afternoon and will spend the next 13 days with my daughter and her sailor.  It's so gorgeous and of course, I won't want to leave.  I have missed my baby girl so much in the last 4 months, that I don't even want to think about that yet.  After I leave here, I fly to Pensacola from my sailor's A school graduation.  I can't believe that the month that I have waited for is finally here.  :)  I spent last weekend with my youngest daughter and oldest son in Albuquerque, now I'm with my middle daughter and her sailor and on the 22nd I will be with my youngest son in Pensacola.  Woohoo!  I am blessed!

Welcome back Joanne! I am so glad you had that much fun on your trip. You needed that! Seeing the animals and not in a zoo setting would be something.

Hope your daughter gets power soon. Having to sleep in her car is awful. What is wrong with the campus for not making arrangements to put these kids up some place? I hope the power gets restored soon for her.

The earthquake is "interesting"... scared me though. Didn't know what was happening. We didn't get any damage from the storm. But can you believe we had 2 natural disasters while you were gone? Really weird.

So glad you have power now Cindy.
